Dr. John Capogna

Dr. Capogna loves to spend time with his family and friends. Dr. Capogna and his wife, Patricia, have three beautiful children, Brian, Michael, and Nicole, and an eight-pound dog named Rocky. Outside of the office, Dr. Capogna enjoys sporting events and is an avid traveler. He is also a great cook and enjoys making homemade pizza!
Dr. Mike Capogna

When Dr. Mike is not creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid drummer, enjoys live music, and loves to travel.
Dr. Christine Capogna

In her spare time, Dr. Christine enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, riding her Peloton, hiking, camping, and playing board games with Dr. Mike. She also loves trying out new recipes in the kitchen with Dr. Mike and spending quality time with their family and friends.
Dr. Laura Bodner

Dr. Laura Bodner is an orthodontic specialist and has been part of the Capogna Orthodontics family for many years. She graduated from Binghamton University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr. Laura received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine

Scheduling Coordinator
Hi! My name is Kim. I am thankful to have joined the office of Capogna Orthodontics. I bring many years of experience working in pediatric and general dentistry. What I love is greeting our families with a smile and helping them along this wonderful journey. I will coordinate your appointments to fit your busy schedule and help you to resolve any questions or concerns. What I enjoy most is working with a great team who together, work to make your experience a pleasurable one.
I have been happily married for 23 years. My husband and I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters. I love spending time with my family, and I enjoy singing at our local church. I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.

Scheduling Coordinator
I have a long history with Capogna Orthodontics. I started working with Dr. Capogna in 1989 when I completed my education as a dental assistant. I have worked in all areas of the office, but will now be found at the front desk taking care of scheduling, phone calls, and answering any questions you may have.
I am married with three grown children. I enjoy walking on the beach and taking vacations with my husband.

Hi! My name is Fran, and I am a scheduling coordinator at Capogna Orthodontics. I have been with Dr. Capogna since 2000. I enjoy my job and am usually the first person you see that greets you with a smile at the front desk.
I love seeing happy patients when they arrive for their appointments, and I enjoy interacting with them and their parents. I find appointment times that work with your busy schedule and make sure everyone leaves happy!
I am married to my best friend Benny, my junior high school sweetheart. I have two children, Christina and Joseph. I love shopping, so on my days off, you can find me at your local mall!

Certified Orthodontic Technician
I love spending my days working with a great team and caring for our incredible patients. Each person brings much positive energy to our office. In addition to chairside assisting, I create retainers in our on-site lab. My goal each day is to make people smile and enjoy their visits.
If I’m not out with my three dogs, you will find me volunteering and running races with my husband John. I’m a member of the Greater Long Island Running Club and New York Road Runners.
Michelle
Scheduling Coordinator
I have been in the orthodontic field for 28 years. I am a Certified Dental Assistant with extensive experience. I have worked in many different orthodontic offices over my career. I finally found my home in 2013 when I started working for Dr. Capogna.
I grew up in this area most of my life, and I am a graduate of Plainedge High School. I have been married for 24 years and have two children, Vincent and Taylor, and two beautiful granddaughters. When I’m not at work, I am usually spending time with my granddaughters or walking and playing with my two friendly pit bulls Buster and Jasmine.
Tina
Scheduling Coordinator
My name is Tina, and I have been an orthodontic technician since 1985. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Capogna for more than 12 years. I love getting to know our patients, especially the children, and enjoy developing relationships over the years.
I have four grown kids and two puppies named Niko and Sophia. Outside of the office, dancing is my passion, and I spend a lot of time at my favorite jazz class. My family and I love going to the beach and gardening.
Jamie
Treatment Coordinator
I have been a member of our team since 2000. I began working as an office assistant while furthering my orthodontic education. I have my certification as an orthodontic technician from the American Association of Orthodontists. In addition to my chairside abilities, I am fluent with insurance, scheduling, and front desk/reception duties. My ability to multitask makes me an enormous asset to our office.
I am the proud mother of three. I enjoy spending my weekends on the sidelines of the soccer fields cheering on my sons, as well as spending some quality girl-time with my daughter. I also love to bake and decorate my desserts.
Eleni
Certified Orthodontic Technician
Hi, my name is Eleni and I have been working at Capogna Orthodontics since 2005, but have been in this field since 1990! I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Education from Hunter College in New York City. I decided to stay with orthodontics because I enjoy interacting with patients, and I love to see their beautiful smiles. I am certified in orthodontic assisting, but I am always taking courses to further my education. I love working on the computer, updating our website, and if you see our posts on Facebook, chances are they are my creations!
In my free time, I love being with my husband and my two beautiful children. On the weekends, you’ll catch us at a museum, an aquarium, or just relaxing at the beach.

Hello, I am Raina and I have been in the orthodontic field since 1997. I joined the Capogna family in March 2016. I absolutely love my job! You may find me singing and dancing around the office (feel free to dance with me).
I live in Plainedge with my husband Steve, my two sons Vincent and Nicholas, our dog Rocco and our bunny Snowball!

Hi! My name is Tracey. I’ve been in the orthodontic field for over 20 years and love getting to know our patients and their families. I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your treatment, appointments, or finances. My goal is for you to have an incredible experience and love our office as much as I do. I am so excited to be a part of the incredible “Capogna Team.”
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, and cheering on my son at his many athletic activities. I also enjoy sitting on the beach with a good book, yoga, Pickle Ball, and crafts!

Orthodontic Technician
Hi! My name is Danielle. I have been an orthodontic technician for a few years now. I graduated from Molloy College with a Psychology degree. I decided to stick to orthodontics because I loved it so much. I enjoy working with patients and seeing their transformation. Teeth have always fascinated me, especially since I have always wanted straight teeth myself and finally got braces in 2017.
I grew up in Queens. In my free time, I design and sell jewelry. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my cat, Petey. In the summer you can always find me at the pool or the beach!!
Carrie
Financial Coordinator
Hi! I’m Carrie, and I have been working with Dr. Capogna for 17 years. My past working experience was in the medical field as an administrative medical supervisor. I have a long history in customer relations as well. As the financial coordinator, I will collect, verify and process your insurance claims. I am always available to answer and explain any questions you may have regarding your insurance and financial issues. I love being a part of the Capogna Orthodontics team because, in addition to the work I do, I enjoy getting to know you and your family. I strive to make sure your experience here is nothing short of perfect!
I love the outdoors, so in my spare time, I love walking (during all seasons) with my golden retriever, Laci, gardening, and Zumba, in addition to spending time with my family and friends!
