Meet Dr. Christine Capogna
Christine Capogna
Dr. Christine Capogna was born and raised in Binghamton, New York. She attended Villanova University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in only three years and graduated summa cum laude. She subsequently spent four years training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor in Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with Honors in Community Oral Health.
Qualifications and expertise
While in dental school, Dr. Christine held many leadership roles and was involved in several community outreach programs, including a summer mission trip to provide dental care in Panama. Following her graduation from dental school, Dr. Christine continued her education at Penn, where she completed her residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During her residency, Dr. Christine served as Chief Resident, performed clinical research, and was trained in the latest orthodontic techniques and advanced technologies. Following residency, Dr. Christine spent 3 years working in Private Practice in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey areas.
In her spare time, Dr. Christine enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, riding her Peloton, hiking, camping, and playing board games with Dr. Mike. She also loves trying out new recipes in the kitchen with Dr. Mike and spending quality time with their family and friends.
