Foods To Avoid With Braces
Your braces are securely bonded to your teeth, but they are not invincible!
Certain foods can dislodge your brackets, snap your wires, and cause other damage to your braces. As a rule of thumb, try to avoid foods that are sticky, hard, or chewy.
Sticking to soft foods during your treatment will keep your appliances safe and avoid treatment delays. All your favorite foods will still be waiting for you when your braces come off.
If your braces become damaged at any point during treatment, do not panic! Give us a call and we will get you in as soon as possible to get your hardware back intact.
